Fundraiser for "Cady Bear" Ware set for Sept. 17
The fundraiser is to help raise money to take Cady to the Cincinnati Children's Hospital for a consultation and possibly more testing
Catherine "Cady Bear" Ware is the 6-year-old daughter of Charles "Frank" Ware and Carma Jensen. Cady is at high risk for Bone Marrow failure. Family and friends are hosting a Chicken & Dumpling dinner at Wakon Iron Hall in Pawhuska from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Sept. 17. The fundraiser is to help raise money to take Cady to the Cincinnati Children's Hospital for a consultation and possibly more testing to find out what is causing her bone marrow to produce low. Currently she is producing at 5 percent to 30 percent of her bone marrow.
