With the support of my family I have decided to humbly submit myself as a candidate for the 3rd Osage Nation Congress.  I have decided to run because now is the time to step up offer solutions through legislation to ensure sustainability for all Osage People.  Now is the time to move our Nation forward by protecting the Osage Constitution, sovereignty, and the integrity of the Osage Nation.  I am a proud Osage Tribal Member and have dedicated my career since 2006 to create and provide services which improve the lively hood of thousands of Osages across the country.

I am currently the Director of the Osage Nation Constituent Services Office established May 2007.  I am proud to have built a successful and responsive constituent serves offering a blend of executive acumen, teambuilding, and promoting operational improvement at the Osage Nation.  The Constituent Services Office consistently delivers results by aligning tribal government initiatives with strategic goals set for by the Osage People through the Osage Nation Strategic Plan with substantial improvement to service delivery, standardization, and tribal program performance.

A reputation for judicious use of resources-resulting in cost containment-my work has been instrumental in providing the Osage Nation Executive Office with data critical to the success of the Osage Nation and its programs specific to all Osage Tribal Members.  In addition I have raised the Osage Nation’s visibility within the organization by bringing constituent and program issues to the forefront of Executive discussion.

A significant achievement is creating a resource center for the Osage Nation by assisting 17,000+ Osages locate services all over the country since 2007.  In addition, the Constituent Services Office has documented, addressed, and resolved complaint and issues; a tool used by the Osage Nation Executive Office to assess whether or not programs are running as they were intended resulting in exceptional customer service.

While serving the Osage Nation recognitions include:  2006-2007 Honored Member of the Cambridge Who’s Who of Executives and Professionals; 2008-2009 Who’s  Who Empowering Executives, Professionals, and Entrepreneurs; 2010 Recognition award 5+ years of service to the Osage Nation; 2010 Commendation and Contribution Certificate in appreciation of services in the Newly reformed government of the Osage Nation; and 2010 recipient of the Top 40 Native Americans under 40 by the National Center for American Enterprise Development organization.

Community leadership roles include being active in cultural traditions and outreach to Osage Constituents by donating personal time to teach Osage beadwork, Osage ribbon work, Osage Language, and traditions past down from my parents and grandparent for organizations such as the Tulsa City-County Library, Owasso Public Schools Native American Group, and the Osage Nation Cultural Center; and youth teacher at the Lynn Baptist Church of Pawhuska.

I believe in the Osage Constitution and the sovereign powers of the Osage Nation are reserved to Osage Constituents and it is time for your voice to be heard.  I would greatly appreciate your vote June 4, 2012.
