A message from June 2010 Candidate Kyle Logan-May
In accordance with the Osage News Election policy, the Osage News is allowing each candidate 500 words on osagenews.org leading up to the June 2010 election
My platform rests on four promises: Preserve, Protect, Produce and Promote. Each aspect reflects both the responsibilities of the Council and my personal strengths.
Preserve – As a high school teacher, I understand the responsibility one generation has to another. Preserving the mineral estate for the future is of critical importance.
Protect – Protecting the surface and subsurface of the estate creates and environment conducive to exploration and production.
Produce – Increasing the value of our leases while raising our daily production levels are the largest issues facing the Council and will require the most effort to resolve.
Promote – Our reservation has much to offer both the major and independent producer. Shallow production and only one mineral owner are attractive features when packaged.
As a Council member, I will remember the job is about petroleum and the responsibility is to the Headright Owners. Thank you for the consideration you give my candidacy.
