Big Soldier, a football player at heart, is also trying for an individual state title in wrestling this year for the Huskies
Gene Big Soldier, Jr., a 17-year-old Osage wrestler and football player has developed a talent in both football and wrestling. He is a state wrestling qualifier and is currently working on winning an individual state title. He is also a star wide receiver and defensive end on the football team. Chance Rencountre, following a successful collegiate wrestling career, has his sights set on going professional
Chance Rencountre, 24, Osage, works with Alliance Gym Coach Adrian Melendrez at the premiere gym where the country's best Ultimate Fighting Championship fighters train in Chula Vista, Calif., for upcoming matches. Rencountre was recommended by former coach Chad Parks, also of Pawhuska, to help train top UFC fighters like Phil Davis and more. Rencountre spent his entire Christmas break in California and was asked to stay longer after his initial couple of weeks were complete.
