American Diabetes Association Alert Day - Tuesday March 27

The Osage Nation Diabetes Program is observing American Diabetes Association Alert Day on Tuesday March 27 with presentations, brunch and a one-mile walk in Pawhuska.

This diabetes awareness event will be held at the Pawhuska Indian Health Service Clinic starting with a 10 a.m. healthy brunch followed by presentations on nutrition and a one-mile walk at 2 p.m.

American Diabetes Association Alert Day is held every fourth Tuesday in March nationwide and is an awareness effort to encourage the public to get tested to see if they are at-risk for developing Type-2 diabetes.
