Osage Nation Prevention Youth Powwow

On March 3, the Osage Nation Prevention Program will host a youth powwow at the Osage County Fairgrounds Agriculture Building in Pawhuska, Oklahoma.

The head staff are as follows: Princess-Courtney Neff, Head Singer-Russell Mashunkashey, Head Man Dancer-Anthony Kemble, Head Lady Dancer-Dresdyn Hinman, Head Little Boy Dancer-Maddux Standingbear, Head Little Girl Dancer-Marleigh Mckinley, Host Gourd Group-Osage Gourd Group, MC-John Williams Jr. and Mike Fish, and Arena Director-Bruce Cass.

The event will begin with Gourd Dancing at 2 p.m., Dinner at 5 p.m., and Grand Entry at 7 p.m.

These are the following Teen Categories (Ages 13-18): Teen Straight, Teen Grass, Teen Fancy, Teen Traditional, Teen Cloth, Teen Jingle, and Teen Fancy Shawl. Prize money for the Teen Categories will be 1^st-$100, 2^nd-$75, and 3^rd-$50.

These are the following Junior Categories (Ages 6-12): Junior Straight, Junior Grass, Junior Fancy, Junior Traditional, Junior Cloth, Junior Jingle, and Junior Fancy Shawl. Prize money for the Junior Categories will be 1^st-$75, 2^nd-$55, and 3^rd-$35.

There will also be Tiny Tots (Ages 0-5)
