The Second Osage Nation Congress is meeting for its Fifth Special Session starting at 10 a.m. Monday Jan. 24 in the Congressional Chambers.
The Congress is slated to consider at least six items during the special session including fiscal year 2011 budget modifications; policies and procedures for the Nation’s Office of Fiscal Performance and Review; a communication protocol between the Congress and Principal Chief John Red Eagle’s office; and a Congressional confirmation of Jeff Jones for Attorney General.
