Jenny Miller announces her candidacy for Osage Congress

"I offer my service to the Osage people in an effort to provide a true democratic government that is by and for the people."

I offer my service to the Osage people in an effort to provide a true democratic government that is by and for the people. In accordance with the Osage Nation Constitution of which I swear to uphold and defend, I will encourage the current legislators’ and other sworn officials to comply with the Osage Nation Constitution and Osage Law as prescribed therein while enforcing recognition of the true Supreme Law of the land, the United States Constitution, to which we are bound.

Osage News deletes two comments by Jenny Miller

The Osage News deleted from its Web site two comments written by Jenny Miller, who plans to run in next year’s tribal election, after Interim Editor Shannon Shaw decided they violated the newspaper’s policy on reader comments.

Under newspaper policy set by a three-member Editorial Council, the Osage News will delete reader comments that are personal attacks or untrue.
